August 27We left Mats-Mats Bay at 7am and motored North through Admiralty Inlet with a helpful current pushing us at speeds up to 11k over ground. We passed through the inlet and into the Strait at about 8:30am and headed West in calm conditions with grayish skies but some sun poking through. We arrived in Port Angeles at 12:25pm and anchored behind the city dock in 13feet (a bit shallow). Moved the boat to the marina (PA Boat Haven). The anchorage was too exposed to the swell and besides, the anchor was dragging (seaweed clogged) so we decided to move. |
