July 1

We moved to Bagaman Island today at about 11am. The lagoon we were anchored at was incredibly beautiful, but, at high tide the swell came in over the reef and it was very uncomfortable. We rolled back and forth all night last night so we left. But first, in the morning we went snorkeling just outside the reef, which was excellent, and then the skipper scraped the hull again to remove the massive growth which has accumulated in the last 2 weeks.

Weather conditions were fair with clear skies to the West but rain clouds visible to the East and North. The distance to Bagaman Island was only 4.7nm and we made it in less then an hour, anchoring in 50ft over sand with some coral bommies closer to the beach. By 1pm cloud cover increased and we had some rain.
